ABOUT ME

This is the bit where you get to see me… The photograph above was taken after I had
completed my advanced Louise Hay teacher training in San Diego, California. No wonder I had
a smile on my face!

I was originally born in Hull, quite a long time ago (!) After I grew up I had several moves
and interesting jobs until I finally settled down in Beverley where I still live.

Life has been a long lesson for me, since I read my first Shakti Gawain book (Creative
Visualisation) back in 1983. Shakti led me all the way to Louise Hay in 1999 and things
seem to have happened rather quickly since then.

I have learned that life, after all, is what you make it, and that we do have a choice about
how we live and how we react to what happens to us along the way. I have also learned
that it is our thoughts and beliefs that create our lives and that by changing the way we
think, we can change our lives for the better.

After years of reading self help books I attended my first Louise Hay teacher training
course in Ireland. I said I would commit to putting the training to good use, and go out and
share this knowledge with others. I’ve lived up to my commitment, and now run Louise Hay
workshops and I’ve also developed my own POSITIVELY ME! workshops and taken Reiki
attunements to the level of Master.

And my life keeps getting ever more interesting! I’m now using the POSITIVELY ME!
philosophy to help others by doing Personal Coaching as well, and the meditations I wrote
for those early Louise Hay workshops have led to me setting up and running Meditation
Groups. And the Meditation Groups have led me to the Pathways to Wisdom series of
workshops. It just goes on… I know there’s a lot more still to do yet. The ideas for different
workshops just keep coming, and there’ll eventually be CD’s of the meditations recorded and
the POSITIVELY ME! book is on the way now. Just watch this space!

And my personal journey goes on too, with new knowledge and insights coming all the time.
I don’t believe you’re ever too old to learn and the more I learn and know, the better I get at
navigating this wonderful river we call life…
